Who is drake talking about with line on Champagne poetry?
Is there an artist that drake gets a percentage off their deal we don’t know about? Is he beefing with that artist cuz the next line he says “ I’m wyling with your bread, you owe it to me”

Often the finder's fee is a percentage of only the cash advances for the first one or two records

    It does

even if it does(not the legal jargon but anyways) its clearly about Kanye considering the other bars before that line

Wait so it about ye of The Weeknd?

It's about the weeknd, back when he signed with republic, they added drake in for a percentage finders fee to keep on good terms with drake. Republic did this, not drake or his team, nor did the weeknd's team do this.

Vietbrah has reiterated this sentiment. I'd venture that this probably only applies to weeknd's first deal with republic so probably not many albums left for this finders fee.
