With the new decade coming thru, what kind of societal/cultural/technology changes do you think we'll see happening?

I think rather than seeing new technologies we'll see the current ones advance significantly, specifically VR. Sort of like how smartphones went from a niche product in the late 2000s to probably the most important object of the 2010s, VR will become a lot more commonplace. It'll also influence culture just like the ease of sharing information through smartphones impacted culture in the 2010s

As for societal and political change, it's a little hard to tell. I don't think anyone expected the boom of far right politicians gaining power all over the world in the 2010s, so I guess the 2020s might be defined by the impact of this new wave. Maybe we'll be seeing revolutions, I don't know. Climate wise I think we'll continue f***ing up, we've pretty much sealed our fate at this point.
