I was wondering what happened to the guardians of the galaxy show that started years ago, apparently it's still going on and they had Spider-man against Thanos with the carnage symbiote?

You can skip season 1 actually, the second second had a completely different staff (new studio / writers) and is much higher quality than the first one.

Damn, don't say that lol. I'm actually enjoying the first season tbh. Outside the ones I saw as a kid which were xmen and spiderman the fantastic 4 is my favorite "new" one.

I want to get to season 2 but at the rate I'm moving by watching an episode of each series one by one instead of dedicating time to one series its going to take me forever but I literally can't pick which one I want to watch first even tho I'm leaning towards fantastic 4 lol.

Spiderman and X-Men are going to be something I watch for a long time since they both got 5 seasons, I'm gonna take my time with those

Nah it's cool if you enjoy it continue just saying I liked season 2 much more (y)
The last season of X-Men kinda trash for me too that's when they outsourced a lot of the episodes' animation and I was really not a fan of the style the writing was still great though

Word. How many of these series did you fully watch?

X-Men seems so long lol with 5 seasons and like 20 episodes or something per season.

I feel like I watched most of the spider man episodes as a kid so I don't mind taking my time even though theres a chance I missed a handful

How would you rank these marvel toons?

Also did you notice those 3d moments in Iron man silver surfer had a couple moments where the dude who turned him to the silver surfer looks extra shiney compared to other characters

It was pretty sophisticated for a kids cartoon so I know what you mean. What was your favorite?

I used to watch spider-man on TV and the fantastic four on vhs

But a couple years ago I watched the first 2-3 seasons of batman(TAS) and Spawn and I was completely blown away by these two (specialy Spawn)

I never got to watch silver surfer tho and he's by far one of the coolest and most interesting characters ever

'92 X-men was also very life-changing for me when I was younger too since it made me go and cop marvel vs capcom(PSX) just so I could kick some capcom ass as wolverine and gambit

I'm not sure if I heard of spawn. Just googled it and doubt I ever watched it as a kid since it was on hbo and a adult animated series.

I watched one episode of batman the animated series for the first time since being a kid and I'm considering binging it lol it impressed me too. I guess I gotta pick between batman and fantastic 4/x men

Silver surfer is cool...I'm 3 episodes in and it's a lot of alien s***, not really catching my attention but I'm gonna keep watching just cause they gave him his own show and s***. At least he got his story told

92 X-Men is dead fire I'm loving it

I watched all of them years ago (5+) except the hulk, so don't really remember them that much tbh.
I'd put Spider-Man at the top cause that's the one I really grew up watching, then X-Men cause the show had so many good storylines, like for instance I think it still has the only on-screen adaption of the Phoenix Saga (not Dark Phoenix).

Honestly though while I like those shows I'm not sure the 90s were the best era for marvel cartoons.
If Spectacular Spider-Man didn't get canceled so soon it would have been easily the greatest spider-man adaption.
X-Men Evolution it didn't have the mature writing of the 90s show, the animation style didn't age well and it took a lot of liberties from the comics but still I enjoyed it more because it was more character focused and the animation was a lot smoother.
And I'd take Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes over FF, Hulk & Iron Man combined

Cool and honestly I think it's a nostalgic thing for me. I haven't seen the spectacular spiderman or the other avengers show cause I was a little older and had stopped watching new cartoons by then but for x men revolution I had the Burger King toy that came with the disc and everything but wasn't into the actual show as much as the 92 x men, I recently watched an episode and decided I'll stick to the original series but that's wassup

I think I'll be on a mission completing these shows for a long time esp x men, spiderman and batman;although it isnt marvel being longer shows

I watched the Christmas episode of batman the animated series to cheer me up thinking it'd put me in a good holiday mood but it was focused on arkham and joker and that s*** made me depressed on Christmas eve

You were right. Although I skipped like 4 episodes in the second season, it is much better but season 1 was still key in a way but I enjoyed it. The way they had silver surfer in season 1 was terrible lol glad they changed it and season 2 also had much more dope cameos
