The car might be fine if everything checks out. Be careful with these auto mechanic up selling you services for things that might not need to be fixed. I have a saying with these cars dont touch none of it unless it is affecting the car from running.

Dont let them touch your car sweetie because Im getting the feeling a whole lot of it might be some BS upselling to get you to spend uncessary money on car repairs . They do this alot to women that dont know much about cars . My father was a mechanic himself and school me to alot of ish early on.
