first off nobody is buying a new one every year
secondly compare that to something as simple as going to the theater. just off the tickets alone if you go once a week thats almost 800 bucks assuming ~$15.

To be fair with the theater

It's only happened to me once but I know it's a problem many people face
Will never understand how anyone plays video games in 2021

u wanna talk about expensive hobbies look into tcg or tabletop games
Gears of war 2 multiplayer is the one closest to halo 3 I ever felt. Met some of my closets friends randomly in the multiplayer. That game is special to me.
@DonJulio if you saw the injury, because I trust you more than Twitter doctors, did it look that bad or nah?
I didn’t see it live and was surprised they said knee because he went down hard on his tailbone, means it was probably on the plant going up and not the actual fall
EDIT: Nope nvm it was a hard plant as he was coming down before he landed on his back

bro literally
i was into hearthstone like 2015/2016 and i tried to get back into it a month or so ago and it's fr like $200 just in dlc's that've been added and probably another $500 if i wanna craft viable decks by opening packs

Yeah it's a one time purchase for a couple years
and I didn't even include the idea of buying all the consoles available as proposed initially
So in reality you gotta double/triple those costs if you buying an xbox, and playstation
