“Real” Mexican food is just unholy amounts of grease and cheese with some sort of tortilla.

I’ll just say this, arguing over the authenticity of a burrito is foolish in itself because in Mexico burritos are only even a sort of thing in the very northern parts, and even then is much diff than what 99% of burritos are on this side of the river.
Arguing over if something is “tex mex” or Americanized or not is silly in general because even most of what people think of here as authentic Mexican food is still Americanized af.
