They have cap space right
THJ coming off the books but they have to re sign him
And some good role players for the most part just literally don’t have a second star in a multi-star league
Kemba for KP
Lonzo showed up late

Okay well Giannis has played a ton of minutes since then for one.
But two, why hire another high ego coach who hasn’t had success in many years when coaches like Cassell who have many ideas and have recent ish playing experience are out there?
Remember the last bald point guard you hired with recent playing experience? Ex players as head coaches really don’t have the best track record.

And it's gifer don't play me
Josh Richardson for Seth high key a terrible trade in hindsight
it was terrible at the time too

Yes risk had to be taken tho

Sam Cassell has been regarded as a good candidate for years now. Kidd was a mistake ofc but we should have known with how he left Brooklyn

Your aim like your team
I think Luka’s hype got to his head and he’s keeping the team from reaching the potential it should. If you can’t remove the cancer remove yourself from it.
Realistically wtf is this team’s ceiling with the current roster though? Like I can’t imagine any team starting THJ, Dorian Finney Smith, and Maxi Kleber achieving anything more than a 5 seed in the west.
bang 😝
lame ass nigga
I def don’t think he’s the one the finger should be pointed at. Like I said before Donnie and Mark were the two biggest problems but Rick isn’t without fault. in that series specifically he fell a little too in love with that zone and didn’t get out of it at points where it could have been more successful.
He specifically schemes Porzingis into getting no touches. What he would have done with them had he gotten them is another story but Rick played a role in how much he was getting the ball.
Not doubling Kawhi more (honestly him not doubling is a huge problem in general that has killed us, he also has f***ed up foul to give situations and costed us games because of it like a dozen times)
Some bad lineups and rotations at multiple points throughout the series as well.
I think the issues with defence are real. They have been there before this year as well.
Luka for all the s*** he gets has massively improved on that end especially on ball.
A lot of offensive stuff also sadly falls into the vacuum of running through Luka is a higher percentage play than giving to KP who seemed out of it.
Fwiw I genuinely think KP for the abuse he’s getting will be fine. He just needs continuity but is made off glass. I think trading him this summer probably isn’t the best move
