MetaphoricalOneWell that's a different argument, but time will tell... Prominent progressives like Bernie Sanders is a big reason for the change in the public discourse and forcing politicians to have to address these issues.... Things that were once fringe or buried are now in the mainstream conversation... A decade ago the popularity of many left wing positions and policies pailed in comparison to where they are now(with a majority of support).
There's a lot more people getting politically engaged and advocating for these positions than in years past... including young people... We just need more of these corrupt clowns to continue to get primaried and lose their positions or die out.... It won't be soon unfortunately.
and as popular as they are, we are no closer to getting them. they aren't being addressed. 15 min wage came and went, no pressure on healthcare, these progressive politicians never use their leverage.
