and as popular as they are, we are no closer to getting them. they aren't being addressed. 15 min wage came and went, no pressure on healthcare, these progressive politicians never use their leverage.

Having a small yet growing minority of progressive politicians is much further than we were a decade ago or even 8 years ago... There's a shift in the electorate as well that will continue to grow as people advocate for left wing policies... Yes the progressives haven't effectively used whatever leverage they really have to get things passed and Biden obviously isn't a leader that's gonna fight for them, but these things haven't come and gone.... They're still growing in support and no progress we've ever made was immediate... There will always be groups fighting against it and trying to resist it and people on the right side needing to be pushed, but it's gonna come.

maybe if they ever showed any indication of having the courage to stand up to establishment democrats, but they never do. the movement is incredibly weak on a national level
