Some random politicians go way harder for israel than others and it’s not for no reason. A guy like Massie personally supports israel but won’t support them politically

I’ll see arguments all the time about who is really wearing the pants in the Irael/America alliance and many smart people will insist that America is fully in charge and the tail isn’t wagging the dog.

But you see how deeply AIPAC’s lobbying tendrils have invaginated our political system to make politicians appear either completely impotent to stop child massacres, or performatively regretful, or obsequiously supportive of Israel. And all refusing to express even the most banal disagreement with any aspect of how Israel conducts itself. It’s total fealty.

Add on top of that the multiple indignities of Israeli spies in the US, constant backtracking on military promises, insults to Christians, whatever the f*** Epstein was, s*** like this interview wherein politicians are fully embarrassed, American public opinion polls that show we do not support Israel, etc.

Sure, Israel achieves a number of America’s foreign policy goals but it just doesn’t seem like the US has a handle on this monster it has created

couple things in there that were similarly pretty rough. i've been reading to/listening to the thoughts of anti israel jewish folk for a very long time but he somehow put it all in a really raw way. not really in terms of content or substance but just a specific tone that i hadn't really heard before.
