  • in the same way that elephants spirits must be broken to perform in the circus
our human spirit was broken so that we would tolerate and live in this twisted capitalist society
laugh at me if you want i just speak what I know to be the truth
why do you think nobody protests in american
    I mean really protests
why does no one enact real change
and I mean real change not this fake obama s*** (best republican president OAT btw)
why is the democratic presidential front-runner in his 70's?
he was part of the last generation to grow up without a broken spirit
the tides are slowly turning however, we see sanders marching arm in arm with people like AOC and the youth are finally rising up in a meaningful way (FUCKING VOTE YOU ZOOMERS AND MILLENIALS)

just look to france and see how they riot for months straight over their retirement being taken away from them while in america we just accept that we will either become part of the elite or never retire
and the endless hurdles and barriers put in place to keep one from moving up in class are effective

    its a crying shame

  • I blame it on media consumption.

  • it's those JEWS!!!!!!!! - Ilhan Omar

  • In

  • They still sell it...

  • ok

  • if americans started to suffer 1/10th of the poverty of the third-world this motherfucker would collapse overnight

dont worry though, we'll get there eventually. hopefully we can get organized enough to be prepared for when it happens.

  • People are afraid of not conforming. And people don’t believe they can have an impact. That’s why some people don’t even do something as small as voting. It’s sad

    too true
i remember reading something by archbishop Desmond Tutu speaking about the huge lines of voters after apartheid was abolished and how he looked to the US where people were so complacent and voter turnout was hovering at 40% and began to wonder when if ever things would change in america

  • American spirit isn’t broken. It has just been purposefully warped by the powers that be.

Stop watching tv and I bet you’ll feel a lot better

if i cant criticize my country then what use is the constitution?

  • protesting just doesn't work, maybe for minor things sometimes but the bigger picture is out of our control

you really think these billionaire life long politicians care about people marching in the hood or some random street with cardboard signs?

and even then if it starts picking up traction, they just send undercovers in to smash windows so they have an excuse to break it up
