How do you envision the fit? People will assume trae can be good off ball but that’s a big career change.

I watched an interesting string of plays in game 2 against the heat. Trae had turned the ball over like 3-4 plays back to back to back, and bog ran the offense 2 plays straight. Trae ran off the screen and hit 2 3s, I was like dog trae def could play off the ball if necessary if needed.

I think we still have to move on from either JC or CC.

Not for hoop reasons on the JC side, I simply don't see how he can buy into this team and locker-room after the third year in a row in trade talks, each year more serious than the last. And he's going to get even less touches with DJM here. No way he's happy.

As for Clint, we lost major floor spacers with Gallo and Kev leaving for DJM. Would like a shooter at our 5 spot, ideally someone like Myles Turner (even though he's only average/below average from 3)

I wouldn't even mind getting creative and trying to snag a guy like PJ Washington or Jae Crowder and run a small unit with JC at the 5. Though PJ seems unlikely to be moved with Miles Bridges doing what he did.

Sending Clint to PHX in a package for Crowder and pieces isn't implausible since they need a C post-Ayton.

But I don't think Clint is the best for our lineup right now or that JC is going to be happy at all on this current team. One or both needs to be moved imo
