GoldmenaceDog I don’t see any potential trades that benefit us though (out of what I’ve seen) we get rid of Dejounte we lost all those picks and probably get some mid ass guard while a team like the lakers or warriors, raptors, etc fleece us. At this current point I don’t even know how you fix this team, the damage has already been done with all the stupid front office moves. You really just have to start anew if you wanna keep it a buck.

I mean even beyond it being way too much to give up for a player of his caliber from the moment the trade was made
The defensive reputation was always overblown too because that side of the ball dropped off significantly for him as soon as he became a more on ball player (also highly overrated here because of the one injury replacement all star selection and the fact that he was doing a lot for bad Spurs teams)
Plus he's not big or versatile enough to play the defensive backcourt role the team envisioned for him
Can't speak for how he handles himself but even if he wasn't on bullshit this trade was terrible from the start especially when you factor in what was given up and that's what my go to people for ball a***ysis were saying from the start
