They even use our at home smart TVs as a widespread content scraping network in the background of us watching stuff on streaming etc

(Basically they have a hidden browser running on your smart tv & it scraps the Internet for them, they do it this way so it's less traceable and they can avoid getting blocked by website with protection against content scraping)
