Not a big fan of the Sassanids , They killed prophet Mani.
The Sassanids valued the Zoroastrian Mullahs at the top of the caste, Near the end of their reign there was a lot of uprisings against the caste system (Mazdak the first communist leader in history is from that time).I like the Parthian Empire before the Sassanids the best. In Persian they are called Askhanian.
Even though they ruled for 500 years plus not much is known about them because the Sassanids wipe their s*** out.
Parthians were Persians but ruled more like the way Greeks did and were open to different religions, customs and languages.
They rivalled the Romans and won many battles defending Iran against them.Very powerful post brother. I didn’t know the problem of the mullahs in Iran stretched that far back. I am also convinced that every principled socialist should work towards the creation of a superpower Mazdakist Parthian Iran.

We invented religions so this Mullah problem is our original sin in a way.
Mazdakism movement believed in the holding of all things in common to reduce greed. All principled socialist must start studying Mazdakism. Mazdak is the OG Karl Marx!
