I went to school with Cola Boyy who’s on the track with Mick Jones. He’s pretty new to the game but he’s going places
it was alright
not as fun as their last two
might need to grow on me
This is definitely less “fun” but I love the somber theme

It's such a good album.
The Avalanches x Jamie XX collaboration literally sounds like its too good to be true also

Yo you're a rly good writer, but I think you should edit yourself more, this was a loong read :D but enjoyable nonetheless. Gave you a follow too because you're a ktt og and your taste is tight
Hype to give this a concentrated listen later tonight.

They also did a radio session together for NTS this year I think that was a rly cool mix

lol I thought it was really long too when I moved it from the word doc to the site. Didn't even notice when I was writing. It's long in part because I never got around to reviewing their other two albums and wanted to kind of sum up what's great about the band and place the new one in context.
Added you back, I knew I recognized your name!
I loved Wildflower, but I already feel like this is a stronger album
How they tackled all these different artists of different genres and styles and made it all blend into such a seamless unique blend is incredible
I don't want to ever admit that an album could surpass Since I Left You, but what they did here is just as mindblowing to me as the insane sample extravaganza on that.
Next album I hope they cut down the features a bit. Their solo tracks are best. It’s kinda rare that I feel like a feature on an avalanches song really improved the track by a lot.

loved this, excellent work. just followed you

Feels like the melancholy songs from wildflower
weightless is a pretty pointless ‘track’ to shove in at the end
can imagine it will be a skip for most people
