Tbf on the VfX thing Batman 2's rumored villains always leaned towards this film taking a step forward in fantasy
Its only the fans that have been ultra strict on things like "it has to be Golden Age Clayface" or "i don't see how they can do Freeze." There's never been a suggestion this couldn't happen
if i remember correctly reeves said something earlier this year along the lines of his batman saga is a grounded crime saga with no fantastical elements

Yea it’s still not adding up. Gunn says pre-production takes 2 years but Reeves said they were ready to film around mid 2025.
