I really hope this happens. The themes of The Batman point to it imo. They intentionally depicted multiple scenes where Bruce's empathy for the mayor's son is emphasized. Then there's him patching things up a bit with Alfred, who he's likely closer with moving forward.
It'd be very odd for Reeves being such a student of Jeph Loeb and already doing his iterations of a Long Halloween and portions of Dark Victory (Sofia, end of Falcones/Maronis, etc..) to skip such an obvious story point at the back half of that book which is the takeaway of Batman years 2-3
I can def see a scenario where Bruce witnesses the death of the Flying Graysons and its just too traumatic that he has to step in and adopt D***. Doesn't mean the kid immediately has the training necessary for Robin, but i think its important he does has a kid of sorts based off how they've already presented this Bruce.

D*** was always gonna happen in this series imo. Hope thats real
Battinson follows the essentials of a canon Batman. This was the natural next step

We need more D*** in this universe
Yea I’m almost certain Reeves has some type of deal that gives him involvement in any project that is Batman related
Which means he’ll be involved with Brave and the Bold.
Which means Brave and the Bold is actually…
Its gonna be Timmy Chalamet huh
I don’t think he wanna be lil bro tbh but he love to see that
Hm an “elseworlds” trilogy that starts with Bruce being explicitly 28 years old in his second year - parents got killed at 8, movie takes place 20 years later. Has a rudimentary and ostensibly anachronistic take on the characters and the world of Gotham, taken further with the rise of Oswald Cobblepot to a more traditional Penguin role throughout The Penguin HBO series. The Batman ends with Batman beginning to transform to a more hopeful, less vengeful hero while the movie touches on him becoming a more traditional Bruce. Is based semi-closely though proudly on Year One and the classic Jeph Loeb follow ups to Year One, a trend I’m sure will continue in the Reeves trilogy past The Batman. Make of this what you will but it sounds to me like a Batman trilogy that serves Batman’s history with the same purpose as The First Avenger for Captain America
Idk if there’s gonna be another Fincher film that serves as inspiration for the look and plot this time around; presumably so, as The Batman was so shaped by Se7en in those regards. But I do know we’re getting more Godfather influence based on the title format and the first film ending with a full transformation into a symbol of hope, The Batman, as Michael Corleone fully transformed into The Godfather during the baptism sequence (there’s also both endings that depict the main guy drifting away from their love interest). You can read Bruce/Batman’s transformation(s) as an optimistic flip on the tragic transformation of Michael Corleone
Combine this with Jeph Loeb Batman and the correct Fincher movie, you’ll probably figure out where Part II is headed
So are we gonna have two different concurrently running Batman/Robin pairs or.....

I’m dying to see this version of Gotham covered in snow, and Christmas lights everywhere .
Would be an amazing contrast to how dark and grimy the city looks
