I'm interested in your take because one of the critiques I've seen being levelled against the Nolan interpretations were that he made Batman movies that are afraid of being mistaken for comic book movies (I fw the trilogy but I'm intrigued by the Reeves take)

Some stuff from comics just doesn’t translate well. Like reeves Batman has the fun tha killed his parents on his suit (which is stupid imo) how do they do that but for Robin?

lol I’m saying for 2 I’m good on side characters focus on villains and Batman . I like Batman alone . Thats me . If others want nightwing cool . I’m not saying he isn’t important to the character eventually . Movie 3 go for it . The issue is if they do it movie 2 then I know he won’t be alone for 3 either . Makes it like he can’t carry his own movie when he can .

i'm fully resigned to never getting a movie where batman encounters a crime and stops it all on his own. You just can't make enough movies where having one be a low stakes single story can happen.
