Feel how you want about the first but its pretty dense to say this. People who didn't even watch the first will tune in just off of it being a well-marketed Batman sequel.

Batman is one of the most casual audience s***s ever that often just overlaps with film nerds. Just how some fans watched Penguin without having watched Batman, you can watch Part 2 without context. Its just a new film

Reeves got more engagement over confirming the size of Batman's f***ing ears than introducing the cast, date or vimeo link . People just want to see Batman
