Dec 17, 2023Casuals don’t pay attention who’s directing or who’s creator of the show or movie tbh. If they can handle two separate Batmans they’ll be fine with Reeves working on his universe and DCU. It’s more confusing for us who pay attention to those things

2nd one, most likely.
I’m saying that mostly bc this was already in development when things were up in the air about the DCEU & bc Antonio Campos strikes me as the type of filmmaker that Reeves would attract to his verse.

i hope they go deep on eerie historical gothic arkham lineage lore like the arkham games did
armadeus arkham founding the asylum in tribute to his mother who went crazy, he himself eventually going insane and being buried on the grounds
him leaving clues/writings for people to discover
quincy sharp eventually getting obsessed with finding his writings and finding out what happened, sending him crazy too
does arkham rehabilitate insane people or does it create them? the people in charge are doomed to crazy. Either because of an eerie mystic curse thing or because curing the inmates is such an impossible task

He doesn’t seem like the type of director to do the same s*** twice . Dawn and War of the Apes both have completely different pacing and vibes, so I think Reeves will switch it up in Part 2 as well so things still feel fresh and new
