Jeffrey Wright as Gordon was definitely a highlight. I’d love to see him further explored.

I was thinking Superman has a 16 month runway from filming to release. That would put this film to start filming by June if it’s a similar length. I’d guess Batman Part II would film more content so they may need to start earlier.

What a terrible finale, just batman fighting some generic untrained dark web losers as Gotham gets flooded going entirely against fiddlers original vendetta against the rich

Finale woulda been SLIGHTLY better if Riddler was there at the end, blending in with the losers as the only one who knew what he was doing

Bruce would’ve had absolutely no character arc if the movie ended after catching Riddler

Rewatched this and I enjoyed it a lot more this time around. I appreciate the arc of Bruce Wayne as he discovers that he needs to be more than a source of terror for the villains, but also a source of hope.

I dug the attention to detail with Mitchell's kid who was throughout the film, and was also the first one to grab hold of Batman's hand when he was rescuing the people from the flood. I thought the kid being the one to trust Batman first was pretty neat.

I also noticed some other smaller details like how Catwoman lets her guard down completely by the end through her words (for two times in the movie, she keeps assuring bats that she can take care of herself, then in the final scene he tells her to take care of herself, and she nods).

TLDR, enjoyed the movie some more the second time around. It's still not my favorite Batman movie but I had a great time.

Colin Farrell and John Turturro were highlights in this.

Reeves pulled off the same idea Jeph Loeb did. Year 2 is a flashpoint the old school mobsters era mobsters die off and are replaced by crazies. I think there'll be a s*** ton to explore with the series now they we've moved on from Carmine before we get the reformed Gotham in Part 2.

Sofia Falcone, Alberto Falcone and Johnny Vitti, all of which who are major crime family members. And there's still Maroni who is Falcone's direct rival. And the castings for them are amazing imo
