There is no dark energy wb got a blockbuster from reeves verse but they are infinitely more focused on Gunn . They don’t particularly care if reeves completes a trilogy nor do I think they believe reeves tv side will be so good it keeps people subscribed. It all feels like filler til they can land their hitters

I don't think WB wants to lose their working relationship with Reeves and Pattinson. It will be a problem for James Gunn too

Also it will get them even more bad PR look for the future after the Coyote and Batgirl situation, making it harder to attract talent to work with them
