Wonder if batman saved his life from the joker or suhh
😂😂
The art is dope. But seeing batman not in his suit cracked me up lol. Especially because he still has his suit’s posture
I want to see a mr freeze adaptation. Save joker for movie 3 if it's a potential trilogy

Killer Croc*
This movie was a goddamn achievement. Props to them for making it 3 hours long. It's hella risky but it had to be done.
There was a bit of sloppiness and awkwardness to every thing which I really f***ed with.
They illustrated very clearly that everyone in this world doesn't really know what the f*** they're doing. The villains, the heroes, everyone was so f***ing inept and somehow that made me comfortable????
We're so used to these perfectly put together characters and superheroes and these guys were all f*** ups.
It was refreshing to see Batman air glide off the building and look totally badass only to f***ing bail under the subway. It was dope to see Catwoman and him not know what the f*** to do about the big bad villains or with the fact that they liked each other. Even Gordon was constantly lost in what was going on. No one knew what was going on or what to do and I f***ing loved it.
I love how playing it that way sets up the future. Everyone was starting to settle into their roles at the end of the movie. Batman leading the mayor and the people to safety, Penguin plotting his rise, Catwoman understanding the situation in Gotham and dipping, Riddler and the Joker bonding and validating their villainy. Holy s*** I can't wait for the next one.
One problem I did have with was the tone of the costumes. I get that Joel Schumacher (? I forget his name) made Batman too camp, and that Nolan and Zack Snyder had to fix that, leading to Matt Reeves having to follow suite and keep it dark. But for the next I wish they would add some eccentricity to everything while retaining the tone they set in this film. A colourful and murderous Riddler committing the atrocities he did in this movie would be excellent. Dark, unhinged and sinister with colour would be mad dope.

hard agree on the costuming
def want them to give them gradual tweak each time in the sequels, hopefully they can figure out a way of using the whole city flood plotline as kind of a reset point in addressing all the changes going forward
Yeah they f***ed up the Riddler the more I sit with it
It’s an example of something being too grounded and not enough from the comics. And yeah it’s probably mostly the costume. Penguin looks like Penguin, Catwoman looks like early Catwoman, Riddler should be more recognizable somehow
i cant stop thinking about this movie
this is exactly what the superhero genre needed tbh

havent thought about a superhero movie this much after watching one since I was like 7 lmao
if this movie isn't the textbook definition of restoring the feeling then I don't know what is
