need Ithaka to school these mofos on how good Dennis' Pacific Ocean Blue and Bambu are
booiiii
actually the bbs rehearsed river song in 1973

and as we know dennis dropped his solo way later in 1977
so this indicates that naturally he thought of giving some of his songs to the boys, as he did with bambuu when that felt apart, some made it on the la album
itās a tough scenario on hand one youāre glad dennis did that album it puts a light on the great talent he is, it shows heās not just a drummer heās an amazing singer and songwriter that dropped the best ādrummer go soloā album ever
on the other hand if that wouldāve made a full beach boys album it would have continued the amazing 70s strike, in fact lot of the bbs are on pacific, both carl and mine brings some help on the writing and performance (both vocally and carl guitar playing)
but i love dennis too much to think of taking a such album away from him for the bbs, itās just funny the idea that if so, he kinda could took over brians role creatively altho he would always be humble about his role and always admire brian, he loved brian like no other and always stood up for him

By the time people get close to an accurate picture of Brian Wilson - if ever - he's gonna be far beyond them again, and I can dig his frustration (1976āØāØ)
Everything I do is a stepping stone from Brian, he's taught me so much.
He is a master, musically. I am dumbfounded at him. I am in awe of him. I've grown up with him and watched him go through changes, and he is the most vulnerable human being I know. The depth of that guy...I mean...he changed the world with his influence. I'm devoting my life to Brian on a musical level, and the rest of the group feels the same way. When Brian plays something for us, we just gape. It gets very emotional.
The thing I wonder about is where does Brian's creative spark come from? Not his subjects or anything, but his spark. What makes it so great for me is that I really don't know. There's a mystery behind Brian, even to me. Creatively, where in the f*** does the guy go? Where is he coming from? (1976)
āØāØ> We'd be in the studio and he would play us a song...we'd start crying, it was so great...I mean it was like 'how could this possibly be happening? How'd you write that?
Brian is The Beach Boys. He is the band. We're his f***ing messengers. He is all of it. Period. We're nothing. He's everything
Makes you think
