golden album still underrated

brian in 1975 during his rough bed d*** abuse years re-recorded in the back of my mind, his voice now ironically sounds more like dennis raspy voice on the original recording than his own cute angel young voice he once had, still beautiful:

still not sure what was the purpose of this - maybe like some of the older sunflower leftovers used for love you or adult child he was gonna reuse this one? re-record it?

It’s a very underrated album, the listen of this album it’s just so great to listen to the instrumentals the lyrics are just super epic I was very blown away by listening to this album it’s going to be high on my list whenever I do rank.

I think it’s going to be in my top three or my top four I’m gonna do a few more listens of the albums I think are the best before I do a list anyways but yeah it’s amazing.

Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) might be my pick for most underrated

@Ithaka that beach boys youtube guy was right when he said the album would be better if you rearranged the tracklisting:

put California Girls and Let Him Run Wild at the beginning of the album. moving Help me Rhonda and Girl Don't Tell Me to start of side B, and Amusement Parks to the end of side A

would be more respected as it should be. close to Today! level

Going to play today again. Summer days and summer nights is also a great album. I really like the amusement park theme in the beginning that it has going for it makes you really feel like you entered Coney Island

All summer long is really good too as well, I have to do more listens on that one too as well but the listen I had of that one day when I had some not so good headphones it was really good.

yeah other underrated one for sure, one of my top/essentials and ive been listening to it a lot. i think the lesser songs like Drive In, Dont Back Down, hell even Carls Big Chance are better than a lot of people give them credit for

Shut Down Vol 2 underrated too, not one of their best but people act likes its a waste of time outside Dont Worry Baby and maybe Fun Fun Fun. like half of it is really great imo
