Totally but still there's a certain energy here that Jeff never approached. It wasn't just Eric but the whole band were just a live behemoth.

Marinated on Blind Faith and Layla and Clapton's solos for yeeears before I was finally like

i appreciate its historicity more than the album itself
Tbh I'm picking up on quite a bit of Ricky Nelson/James Burton energy now that I know how hard they snapped in the earlier 60s
That summertime bassline

Have you heard the song that began the legend of Duane (when he was a muscle shoals session guitarist) and allowed him to record the Allmans debut album off the hype? S***s all over the Beatles version and is considered the beginning of southern rock and roll because Duane snapped so hard and originally

Shut down volume 2 was really good. I like the cover art as well. Awesome car.

chris rainbow passed away in 2015, alan parson stated: It was with great sadness that I read today of the passing of Chris Rainbow. He was an amazing talent and an integral part of The Project sound. Eric and I used to call him the “One Man Beach Boys”. I will always remember his funny stories, his mimicking ability, and his hilarious catch phrases. Sessions with him were always filled with laughter. I will miss him greatly.
