I did actually, I gave it a full listen to get familiar n I’ve been going through individual songs and I don’t want to get ahead of myself but this s*** really is incredible you might be right. There were a lot of moments on first listen where I was just kinda amazed by how beautiful it was and how it all came together (Slim Slow Slider second half with the sax ) And not only is the production that good but he’s a really great and poetic songwriter, songs like Astral Weeks& Madame George are so good in that way. I mean to spend more time with and give more thorough attentive listens to get a full grasp but I love everything I hear so far and I’m sure the more time I spend with it the more I’ll like it. U really put me on sir especially cus I’ve never heard of it at all, this s*** came out of nowhere
real ass s***
OMG
this photo crazy tbh could you guess this guy spent some decade or more in bed hooked on d****?
Richard Ashcroft (THE VERVE): With the limited equipment they had then, Brian Wilson still brought out this incredible music, when people at that time were struggling to get these sounds. (1997)

Tbh tho I don't know how you stan Forever Changes but never even heard about Astral Weeks they're both always way at the top of any Best Of All Time lists
song of the day:
!https://youtu.be/kdrnEPl2zzkit’s a scary thought that this was shelved and kept secret for 40 years straight
only like one or two hardcore beach boys insiders got to hear it during that run and comment on it but during this whole time it has never been bootlegged or circulated among superstans
what a crime
What a crine

!https://youtu.be/jOtMIJNKiJgin 1970 gary usher did a cool symphonic album we never talk about in bbs communities that covers beach boys deep albums cuts
the project was all done and ready to go with booklet designed but ultimately was canceled (the bbs lore stay taking Ls) but thankfully finally released in 2000:
stellar song selection:
1 Caroline No
2 You Still Believe In Me
3 Busy Doin' Nothin'
4 Pet Sounds
5 Medley:
Fall Breaks And Back To Winter
Good Vibrations
Heroes & Villains
6 The Warmth Of The Sun
7 God Only Knows
8 Please Let Me Wonder
9 Friends
10 In My Room
ugh imagine if this had been released, what a good exposure altho i doubt high commercial value
gary usher was a childhood friend of brian who co-wrote lyrics of in my room (which is why it’s the closer for this tribute album) and some others for other bands, he stayed great close friend to brian until his passsinf early 90s due to cancer - which even through fighting it he tried everything in his power to free brian from landy, god bless him
