You don't minimize it... You call him a horrible person then move on to the music discussion because it has no bearing on that conversation and the history he made. Griffith, Reifenstahl and Polanski still rightfully get mentioned whenever the pinnacle a cinema form gets mentioned.... Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis just a couple for rock and roll... Etc. Were just lucky there were so many musicians and singers between his psych and ours so it makes it much easier it separate art from artist in this case.

Nah I saw it and thought the wording was a little sus, but also am not having people write off his achievements in his early 20s for what he did as a geezer. Cant overestimate how monumental that s*** was and it should be celebrated.

Yeah nah i can't stand hearing more than 20 seconds of this horrid little homunculus talk Brian probably knows better than to take geezer Spektor serious. He probably knew in their prime what Phil thought of him and I'm sure it wasn't bad.
