bro said he wants a noah centineo cameo in szn 4
Never had a issue with the celebs on the show, mainly because they don’t treat them like cameos
They’re just characters that exist there, no fanfare or playing up their appearance (although Cena was kind of pushing it), they’re treated like they’re normal people

That s*** is crazy I wonder if it was just a fun thing they threw in but I mean nothing really prevents Burnt taking place in the same universe

The first episode of season 3 is not good.
It’s not ballsy, it’s not bold, it’s not even boring. It’s just unnecessary. It’s not an evocative tone piece, it’s not effective at letting us into the character’s head, it doesn’t provide any new information, and it’s basically just a glorified clip show.
And the Trent Reznor score is phoned in.
I have no idea what y’all see in it.
Do an episode with no dialogue, and then we’ll talk.

I can see the NIN soundtrack being repetitive but I thought the episode overall was just an interesting way to merge Carm and Syd's journey so far

I don’t mind repetitive, I just thought it was uninspired.
I feel ya.

The Bear and The Boys really fell off at the same time. I’m gonna be sick.
Wait for season 4 crodie

why is it uninspired
no dialogue episode would feel forced
it worked in mr robot, given the whole context, tension between main characters, and that by s4 it was full of action and violence.
theres sm moments that say a lot without dialogue (sydney's montages come to mind) that it would be heavy handed to do a dialogue free episode. the episode they pushed themselves was obviously ice chips, and imo they delivered perfectly on it. its a great one off bottle neck and its really one room, two people. its hard to make that engaging, its pure cinema, screenwriting. may not appeal to those who want the fast paced kitchen drama, but its inarguably well written family drama.
idk how you could do a silent episode in the kitchen. this writing room can do it, but i think it would be more interesting to see what the characters are thinking and explore that, than do a completely silent episode

its his opinion and theres not much to really argue against, its all about ehat it's "not" and not really any substance to the critique. i can't really argue against something that's not articulating what it is they dont like about it, as much as i love to advocate for this episode /season.

I don’t know if a no dialogue episode would actually work. It was just a little quip where I’m saying that that’s something that would actually feel like a big swing to me. Maybe it wasn’t trying to be anything crazy and if so
but I didn’t really find it effective either way. I’ll probably just talk about the episode itself from now on, instead of talking about the narrative around it.

My critique is that I don’t feel like I got much out of the episode. Essentially, I’m saying it’s filler.
