I am a huge advocate of good intros and outros. Not only in music but in movies, books, speeches, and almost anything in life.
If something lacks a good beginning and end, chances are that even if the body is good, it’ll fly over my head. And tbh, I don’t think my brain is the only one that works like this.
The first track is the s***tiest beginning to any album I’ve heard in the past 5 years. Why the F*** didn’t he just start it with Selah like the film did?
The final track would have been the best song on the album if he would have just let it run....again, LIKE THE FILM DID.
This album has so many s***ty decisions written all over it, that’s its incredibly difficult to give them all passes and praise the album as a whole. But this particular one is by far what takes the album down multiple levels for me.
Discuss.
the first track sounds like Sunday Service on d****. Hyperactive af. I kinda like it because the entire album sounds deranged.
They sound like interludes to songs that don't exist. A lot of this album has been either cut or unfinished.
Even the Yandhi leaks sounded more complete than some parts.
Every hour is 🔥. Out of all the tracks the one I can imagine hearing at my church on sunday.

Play the album on repeat. The final song/interlude goes back into the first song really well.
Also I have seen some people saying track 1 is their favorite sound on the entire project, same goes for the final track. So all in all I disagree I think it's awesome. I like how the final track ends quickly/abrupt. It's surprising just like the Spine Chilling Sax Solo from Kenny G.
