We've seen this trend more and more the last few years just annouce something and make em wait a few years til it reaches mythical status

The fans will long for it and comment on it giving you all the promotion you need even if you can't get a single popping off

Eternal Atake will do far better in 2020 than it would in 2018 when it was announced despite the fact there is no XO Tour Llif3 equivalent this time around all because Uzi did the smartest thing possible "nothing"

To any artist with a sizeable fan base that sees this:

Stop dropping singles
Stop promoting your s*** on Twitter
Stop doing interviews

Announce an album maybe drop an album cover even if it's not the final product and then stop talking about it. The fans will handle the rest.

This will actually work. But only if you have a strong core fan base already.
