Altogether this album may have been bad but there’s some decent songs on it individually

basically this, the bad songs on the album HEAVILY outweigh the good ones but there’s still some decent/listenable stuff on there. It deservedly gets hated but it’s not a 22/22 miss

The black pill is that people were always going to hate on The Big Day whether it was good or bad. During Chance's hiatus after Coloring Book, hip-hop shifted and positivity was muscled out of the genre - first by emo rap and then street rap. There wasn't really a place for a rapper like Chance anymore. People were WAITING to tear Chance apart for not talking about killing people or killing himself

I mean it's 77 minutes long I would hope a couple of the songs are decent
