I only learned about this because of carribbean and African immigrants on Twitter talking about it. They have been spreading this way more than any shlubby white anime avatar racist. I wouldn’t be surprised if the term goes mainstream because of them over actual white people.

Black fatigue is silly to me because it implies racist or closeted racist non-blacks were “playing nice” up until this point lmao

Racists gonna be racists, but I have noticed fashion and music trends have gone away from black culture last couple years (zoomers trading in their nikes/jordans for new balances/asics, weird repopularization of country music, etc)

    Same

Seems like they’re done playing around with black culture now that wearing it has lost its edge.

Also, yes grassroots, blue collar, trad value culture is now on the up for multiple reasons. In my opinion, a few of those reasons are def rooted in racism and homophobia, but then others make some sense, but that’s another convo lol

That doesn't seem racially motivated at all, just how culture shifts with each generation
Hip hop culture has been running the US for about 2 gens, something else eventually taking over was just bound to happen.

The term has since been appropriated by racists and they use it to mean a general sense of exhaustion from having to share the world with black people

As if black people make their day to day lives harder

Also exhaustion from having to “walk on eggshells”

Basically they want to be openly racist and they are sad that they cannot be

Crackas do b******ize everything don't they

Imo this is similar to the post 9/11 shift when country music got really popular (among some immediate family for me even), that coincided with a rise in nationalism and anti (middle eastern) immigrant sentiments

I get it now its not necessarily the shift in dominant art thats the problem but the hateful attitudes that accompany it, I can see that
I guess every dominant art comes with their own behavioral influence on a cultural level, and its unfortunate that what many would call the most American music genre brands itself that way

Its just way too different. Black people are not a cohesive national identity the same as Palestinians. Most see themselves as American citezens the same as any other(while of course living in apartheid conditions. Nor do black people have international military support.

Terms like this are specifically made for propaganda purposes. If you trace it back it was probably some online right wingers or conservative ngo that started the discourse. Whether it spreads or not its just a form of agitation to dehumanize black people

this stupid f***ing thing has been circulating on twitter and f***ing up peoples algorithms. IRonically i had a few peeps pop up with the same complains as u OP, made its way into their twitters and socials. Ironic these Klan members are finding a way to be "Politically correct" about their racism.

What upsets me the most is that this is yet another instance of white people re-appropriating a term that black coined, and flipping the meaning to frame legitimate frustrations and observations as problematic TO THEM!!

People participating in this genuinely are releasing subconscious thoughts out. I would be paying attention personally. showing you who they are

It's impossible to get away from right wing garbage on that platform. I've blocked every conservative talking head grifter account that has popped up on my feed since the nazi took over and every day more of them show up. It's unavoidable no matter how hard you try
