The Blood of Dawnwalker is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is set in 14th-century medieval Southeast Europe. The dark fantasy game was announced in January 2025. It is scheduled to release for the PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 3, 2026. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz directed the game, after working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Makes a lot of sense considering that the industry is going to have a new standard after 11/19 , best to try and get as many sales in as possible before that happens

You think GTA VI will lead to game companies already with many games in development Hell that you dont even know exist. Say "yeah we too can afford to work on a game and service for 10 years "? Do you hear the logic. Yes some gamers will say "why cant every game be like GTA this detailed" but many recongnize games only get so much development time and budget. If they tried to do even a fraction they risk failure and shutdown.

CDPR are real for not suing. Every new gameplay presentation has more and more "Witcher like" UI and gameplay almost 1:1 rips if we're really talking. Not a bad thing at all, it's looking great

Yeah it’s very Witcher 3.5 but vampires. I guess there’s not that much bad blood between CDPR and this new dev because it’s pretty much made of ex leads at CDPR who went solo.

One really interesting concept to this game is that the in game time clock affects how you play - from morning until night you’re the MC in human form and from night until morning you’re the vampire. You can therefore choose to do quests etc in either form relying on different traits.

Could be interesting could be gimmicky

They are made of core creators of witcher 3 plus same Publisher World Wide and both studios are from Poland

idk i feel like this is just gonna be mid like most of these extremely overhyped games

So reading up a little bit — you have 30 days and 30 nights to save your family from the main villain. Activities throughout the day will make the time progress. During the day he is a human at night he has vampire abilities and you can choose which form to use to do quests.

Everyone seems to be saying expected stuff in praise - voice acting, soundtracking, storyline, real choices in side quests etc. but with a bit of jank and heaviness at time.

Guess the ex Witcher devs really did put in what they were excellent at. Think I’ll first day cop
