I’m not an expert but I think you got it right. It was pitched, approved, and greenlit cause they’re already attaching names to it, they have an exec producer

The longer I sit with this season the less it feels like mid and more straight up bad tbh

Only good episode was 4 because of the homelander horror subplot

The shapeshifter plot resolution was the worst this show has ever been

Ryan will be the one to kill Homelander. Butcher will then kill Ryan with the virus and be the show’s final antagonist.

Starlight killed a shapeshifter with super strength and invulnerability via rear naked choke lol

Hughie was basically sexually assualted back to back this season and they just weirdly gloss over it.

Any guesses?

My guesses:

• Butcher & Homelander for sure dying
• I think they give Mothers Milk, Hughie, and Starlight their happy endings
• Either Kimiko or Frenchie dying. I’m leaning toward Kimiko
• A Train completes redemption arc and sacrifices himself to save someone
• Deep and Noir survive so they can have them cameo in Gen V and future stuff

I think The Deep definitely dying, and between Frenchie & Kimiko I'm leaning towards Frenchie, so he can redeem his past doings, but I'm not sure on this, since they went relationship route with them, would be lil weird to kill him off.

Have had no urge to watch season 4 yet lol guess I’ll wait til 5 is around the corner

Yeah some plot points felt unneccessary, but the overall highs were super-high IMO

Also was the most thrilling out of all seasons in terms of plot-twists, etc.

If it hits with action a bit of comedy, I'm pretty satisfied

The way people got mad at Starlight’s reaction to the shifter and Hughie you’d think she would’ve been steaming pissed the whole episode but she was a bit angry for 5 minutes then got over it
