@DonutHole
this was a life changing thing for me to read
https://americanstudies.yale.edu/sites/default/files/files/Keyword%20Coalition_Readings.pdf
this is from the 70s and not a damn thing has changed. black feminist group called the The Combahee River Collective
in this document they basically just read niggas and explain the problems they face as black women in america. it was extremely eye opening but its not the end of my quest to learn more. i also just listen to black women express how they feel....
I'll read this for sure
Edit: read it. It's a great starting point to delve into black feminism + the anti-racism article was really interesting too.
Will say this tho, NoName d***riding aside, I did take this opportunity to call other black women I know and get their perspective on black men oppressing black women.
Was gonna ask them about that “black men are the white people of black people” thing but my “all lives matter” ass “I support the nazis” ass “Trump is the GOAT” ass roommate was in the room and I really don’t feel like hearing this nigga mouth
U got that "I support the nazis" roommate on standby?

Damn this the thread i need to be in I see.. f***
Just want to add that it's toxic to pull the "stop being a white knight, she ain't gonna f*** you" card the moment someone defends a woman on the other end of a debate with a popular rapper. I see this all the time and it's so played out. Women, especially black women, need support from men because we have a platform and privilege of our own.
Talk that s***.
Best part when he said Cole mom white so he never knew how love from a black woman feel
S*** had me like
@YoungNastyShawty you gotta interview Durand Bernarr, I don't understand how someone can sing that well

@YoungNastyShawty watching this durand interview and it’s fire. i saw his song association video and bruhs vocal ability is amazing.
that being said, you mentioned that somebody had to remind you to listen to durand, so i gotta remind you to listen to WESWILL bro! a nigga from out here in cleveland who started in a group with tae miles. i know you love tae and he has a similar style cause they came up together but leans more into R&B and the 90s sound. this one of my favorite artists i think you would be a fan of him too
