In La only? Most of the ones in the IE, like Montclair or Riverside are open daily.
They play new movies. As far as i know the LA pop up drive ins are old movies

I’ve gone from anaheim and it’s about 30mins for a drive.
But I mean you get to see two movies for $10 per person. You can bring your own food.
You do need to bring your own portable radio. If you leave your car on then you’ll waste gas or kill your battery.
I’d look into the pop up ones. Just google drive ins in La and you’ll get a list of places showing old movies. They tend to be pricier.
