Which area would be the best to stay in LA, regardless if it's a hotel or an AirBnb for 1-2 weeks in terms of not a f***ed up area but also not too expensive.
Everything looks super expensive from a first look..
Weather been immaculate lately.
I got a week off work coming up. What are some neighborhoods I can day trip to from LA? Marina Del Rey, Ventura, that kind of thing

Chill in the valley if you're looking to go cheap but still be in LA, North Hollywood has great metro access and a lot of things to do.

I may be biased cause I’ve lived here my whole life, but I love OC and feel like you’d probably get good bang for your buck getting an air bnb here over LA. Seal Beach probably the best choice if you’re looking to be in LA most of the time, or on the other side of the border of Seal Beach which is Long Beach (which is technically LA county).
If you really want to be deeper in LA county, I love the Pasadena area and I’m assuming it shouldn’t be too end prices (I could be wrong though).
