@Magician ya from SD but used to live in LA and hopefully I'll get to move back if I land a job there and saved up enough. SD is fine but it's boring and ridiculously expensive.

My phone says 5:25pm and the other 5:12 pm. So after sunset. I love hiking and going to parks like a boomer, nah I love biology. That's what I do and that's what draws me to those places. But the pics at night are just my neighorhood. Meh.

I took a day trip along the 1 a few weeks ago only made it to SB before I had to go back because I wanted to hike up to the Observatory in LA and I got there just in time

Malibu is gorgeous, LA is gorgeous, SB is gorgeous. At at Neptune's Net. Highly recommended if you drive along the coast by Malibu. You can't miss it.

winter break is almost over and that means i have to leave san diego to go back to indiana

Tbh I lived in Long Beach so I guess that's not representative of all of LA. There's just more to do in LA. There's a big concert every week, more places to eat out, just more places to go to. The only thing I don't miss is the traffic. SD is so laid back and peaceful I dunno.

@Flower those are some really badass shots. Are all of these from your phone? I like being all over SoCal but I’m the type of person that forgets to take photos, it only ever hits me when I see someone else’s that I’ve missed a lot of good opportunities to capture a good view or cool sights

Yeah from my Pixel. I was just like you. I was at all of those places earlier last year and forgot to take pics so I went again mainly to take pics. It's where we live like we don't think of taking pics like tourists. It's not like those places will go away so I have to remind myself to.

True. Here in la there’s so much s*** to see but it feels as though there’s no time to stop and capture it. I’ve also been to national parks and left with like none to very little pictures which I’m regretting now. I’m gonna start to change that this year I’ve decided right now
