yeah, he still got great beats lately on pusha’s stuff and that kendrick track but for a clipse album it would definitely need chad hugo involved. it needs that edge that he brought to the Neptunes’ sound.
plus less of that pharrell 808/rimshot which is quite cool but very overused at this point

The Clipse album HAS to be produced by The Neptunes.. but honestly I feel Pharrell solo could be fine too. His beats on Its Almost Dry were crazy.
