So somebody told me that on the now shutdown website what . cd a version of College Dropout was listed and described as the unmastered studio version in 192 kHz, can anybody confirm this? I've never seen or heard of it until now, so I figured some of you true OG's would know

Gotta step in here and say the unmasters weren’t official project files but ran through some declipping and normalizing filters.

well it depends which files we’re talking about. I know there’s early versions of tcd. Figured that’s what he was talking about. If some new weirdo fan did something else of this nature recently then yeah I wouldn’t know about it lol

There's a "Review Copy for Entertainment Weekly" with the following differences:
    • Audio watermark for Entertainment Weekly at the beginning of each song
    • Full intro
    • “All Falls Down” features Lauryn Hill instead of Syleena Johnson
    • “School Spirit” is uncensored
    • “Family Business'” piano track is an unreleased alternate recording
    • There is a 22nd track, “We Don't Care (Reprise)”
    • It's unmastered

That's also what I figured because I've been browsing and collecting Kanye audio for so long that I would have come across it at some point

fan declippings that are incorrectly labeled as "unmastered" versions are not allowed to be uploaded to those trackers

was on ?cd when it was alive and never noticed one being posted in the comments
