Bloodflowers is a more solid record and more The Cure-ish, for sure, but is it as INTERESTING?
Been listening through them all too. Doing Wild Mood Swings and Bloodflowers today.
hahaha i wanted to listen to the 5 records i've never heard before the new one comes out
i'm on track 7 rn, not bad so far tbh
It's not bad, but it's just so middle of the road. Don't find myself returning to that album at all
It's out in NZ now! Anyone heard it? Or....have a way of listening to it?
listening rn, but i'm not gonna say anything till the album is out in a higher quality cuz it's only compressed MP3 :/

you don’t gotta justify to me twin
leaks are irrelevant tbh because we just end up streaming the album on whatever service we use after
i’ll get my biggest criticism out of the way before i start fanboying: the mixing is ASS on some these songs, especially on the guitars

I feel like this was kinda the expectation from the beginning. I wonder if the blu ray dolby atmos mix helps.

surprisingly, Warsong is the biggest highlight for me…what a f***ing dirge.
listening to this paired with the album cover, it takes me back to some of the more primal tracks off of Closer by Joy Division, with a little bit of post-rock and Hendrix sprinkled in
We made it @Tha7osavage
took me four year to go through the Cures first 9 albums but now Ive been marinating on Disintegration for 5 years
finally gonna move on to Wish this weekend. happy for y'all that are excited for this.
ik some fans don’t care for the wah-wah when it is featured on the band’s songs, but i’d say this album probably has their best implementation of it; really tastefully done
