tough but The Cure
obviously
That's it. That's the thread. Who ya'll got?
If ya'll know me, ya'll already know that The Cure is my GOAT. But i won't cap, i do fw some of The Smith's stuff.
@Danny
The cure is the only right answer
The Cure for me.
However lately I've been listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees heavy.
The opening 3 tracks on JuJu hit hard.
I don't want to say it but ngl im starting to think so.
like I'm listening to the albums Juju and Tinderbox everyday.
This was and still is me listening to Disintegration every damn day lol. But nah i fw Siouxsie a lot too. I can thank @pneumonia for that
yeah maybe its because it's that time of year but Siouxsie vibes this fall
The Cure vibes heavy for fall time too but yeah Siouxsie hit hard for Autumn time
Just kidding.. honestly joy division ruined the genre for me. Nothing compares..

Drums are unmatched.
As much as I hate him, Morrissey as a vocalist/writer/frontman > Rob Smith
The Cure’s production is much more my taste though
Smiths >>>>>>>
Really to substantiate this claim, I feel as the short run the Smiths did have is overall superior to the output the Cure released. Even if you want to claim that they might have a better album or etc, Smiths churned such a consistent yet large amount of quality in only a couple of years which is crazy impressive once you think about.
I also think Moz is a better songwriter than Robert Smith (not to say that Robert isn’t good in his own right, but it feels like Morrissey is a step above.)

Morrissey definitely executed his iconoclastic visions with the Smiths quite well too at this time.

yeah man like from a production lvl and melodically Siouxsie was ahead of their time imo. Plus the face I made when I realized how you actually pronounce it. Suzie

Heard a few people pronounce her name wrong lol, great band. So many classic songs and videos.
The Smiths didn’t make Disintegration, but then again The Cure didn’t make The Queen Is Dead...still imma go with The Cure

ngl first thought was why are white ppl so extra just name it Suzie and the banshees however I realized thats just the way it's spelled in Hebrew terms and it does look cooler. had to research that when I looked up the band
