The wife and I rewatched this after not having seen it since the 2000s. And wow the ending is anticlimactic and underwhelming af

She went through all of that just to quit her job, settle down with her hater ex-boyfriend, and move out of her dream city to support his chef career

Yea she did get a job in NY, but she had a whole convo with her lame bf about them getting back together, and it’s heavily implied that they’d move in together again once he relocated to Boston

watched it last night felt more like a final goodbye just on good terms type shift to me

like her accepting the job in ny at the end was her deciding not to go to boston to live w dude

Catwoman and Vinny Chase definitely dont get back together at the end, it was just a closure convo

Yeah I just saw it for the first time with my girl last night, and completely agree, what the f*** was that 3rd act/ending? Complete tonal shift. Guy treats his girl like s*** cuz she's lowkey flexing on his underachieving ass...then HE decides to sacrifice his s*** and boss up and we're supposed to clap for HIM? and she wants to "try and see how Boston works" because HE wants it? What the f*** was that???

What ever happened to her learning how to suck it up and boss up at her own job? She just gets morally flummoxed and quits?? And her boyfriend gets the ending? And that's supposed to be good? What the hell??

I was wondering about that. She obviously took a new job in NY and Entourage was going to Boston. I mean that's only a quick train ride away but it didn't seem like they was getting back together. but they were a lil flirty (i just watched this movie for the first time last night)

  • I do think Entourage was hating on his girl for sure BUT Andy did need to get told about herself. She came into that job hating on fashion and was just using it as a stepping stone. She lost herself. She was "married" to Meryl and neglected everybody else. And she wasn't even living up to her own promise.

  • I enjoyed this. Very rare for a legacy sequel to be better than the original, but I think they pulled it off here

  • This was better than I expected.
