In 2019 the government of Ghana declared it the The Year of Return encouraging the African diaspora to visit invest and immigrate to Ghana
Its hard to find any specific numbers but a number of African Americans(3000 to 5000) have moved and settled in Ghana successfully. Its one of the safest places on the planet with a long history diverse culture and a place very relevant to the slave trade that brought us here and took us away being the site of over 40 historical Slave Castles that our ancestors suffered in

Just putting this bug in the ear of the America diaspora looking for somewhere to go

Its a mostly english speaking country, most Christian(if that matters to you) democratic with the largest city being Accra a modern city where most of the American diaspora can be found

They want foreign money so bad if you want to start a business there you can basically meet the government and local leaders will help you get land and s***

Going there in a few weeks. Though my family is Liberian i would much rather settle in Ghana as they have a better infrastructure and their president isn’t sketchy

I think us folks in general need to visit Africa more as opposed to southeast Asia or Europe
