Nah, I think you misunderstood my point. I was trying to say that the working class who look down on certain jobs are not hating on the people doing the jobs but the jobs themselves. Those jobs are essentially made so you can't succeed which is why the working class does not like them. If you work hard but can't get money then you can't really do s*** to better yourself. There are some people who don't like the people working those jobs too but they are usually from well off families and I wouldn't consider them part of the working class.

i think OP is also factoring in the gaslighting of racism into s*** like "they stole our jobs" when really it was the person exploiting someone who'd work for even LESS than the labor u did was valued to make some more money off the margins

    that type of s***?

idk this s*** is a mess

im so tired of the needless manipulation like....

critical thinking getting tossed to the wayside then people can go f***ing VIRAL when someone says some common sense s*** that everyone should already be able to know as a functioning adult human being

Yea I think OP is right about everything but I just had a problem with the line "They have created a culture where people who create the backbone of a society (basic laborers) are viewed as lazy and not hard working and lied to the corporate worker telling them that if they keep working harder then they could become a part of the ruling class when really this worker is being exploited so that these corporations make more money"

its hard to keep up with all the things people say to s*** on the working class, or nonwhites, or women, or immigrants, or whoever, for what? get votes off mutual hate of people u never met?

s*** crazy and i do think real hate stems from self-hatred,

even hate of the oppressor probably creates self-hate in the fact that you aren't able to get yourself out from under that boot with the ease you ought to no matter how much u fight. that feeling gotta create feelings of the self being inferior even though its bullshit

and thats probably how so many people break. and give up. and give up on change, and try to assimilate into a s***ty system like this

Division and separation based on our profession/race/culture is ingrained into our DNA b. Take a look into the dark abyss of our history, the concept of long term unity is a falsity.

I actually do think classism is inherent lol. We’re still very much a tribal species unless we can alter our cognitive DNA. That’s just my current take on the matter.

one of the most striking aspects of capitalism is its ability to account for and protect itself against its weaknesses (i.e. how it frames crises as not inevitable and exogenous/a product of unfaithful actors, etc.)

on this issue, going beyond surface level points i.e. racism, religion, difference of opinion over sexuality, gender, etc. acting as a divisive force among the working class even something as simple as competitive hiring practices (which fuels the race to the bottom for wages and offshoring of jobs which also benefit the capitalist mode of production) accelerates this division. the concept of worker vs worker becomes ingratiated among the working class instead of worker against state/worker against owner, etc.
