Trump was a typical republican legislative wise
His foreign policy was different in that he embraced Americas enemies and irritated allies (excluding Iran)
Monetarily he instructed the fed to pump as much money into the market as possible to keep it up under his reign which lead to the inflation we see today
Culturally he understood how to be likable to the American people but his racist dogwhistles and far right associations made him a very divisive figure
