only losers hate on it tbh

Honestly my favorite American horror movie in years. Puts the whole A24 aesthetic to shame tbh

Disney absolutely dumped this movie so hard, threw it into cinemas at the height of the pandemic without a care in the world and didn't even give it a proper DVD release

Disney hates art so makes sense

makes sense why you wouldn't like a movie with actual atmosphere and ideas then. Enjoy your libtard woke agendas. Can't even call Invisible Man a movie.

what makes The Invisible Man "libtard woke agenda"

I've never seen it. enlighten me

It’s a s*** horror film entirely reliant on trying to make abusive men scary as if they aren’t already

It’s overtly preachy and brings zero ideas as a horror, just more s*** jump scares and zero atmosphere. Absolutely apprehensible libtard bullshit

So because the bad guy is an abuser it has a "libtard woke agenda"?

    How about Halloween?

It’s a horror film entirely reliant on trying to make psychopathic men scary as if they aren’t already

It seems like you're trying to force your own politics into films

Halloween is never at once actually concerned about Michael Myers being an "abuser". He is just a deranged murderer and the original movie is interested in being a suspense film with a simple concept that never tries to overreach for some political agenda. Even Zombie's films, though they do get political, I find his insight a lot more interesting because it gets into the mythology behind the Halloween franchise and is still concerned with that world. The Invisible Man is a s*** horror film reliant on schlocky jump scares and generic ass atmosphere but hides behind domestic abuse as a theme in order to think that agenda will save the movie of its extremely poor filmmaking.

Again, I call it a libtard woke agenda movie not because I have an issue with the message, but because I think its absolute s*** and is reliant on cosigning some woke agenda to get people to like it when it has absolutely zero merit to its actual filmmaking.

Gremlins is one of my all time favorite movies and that is about as liberal as movies get. I don't give a s*** about the politics of a movie. Its about the passion and the execution.

Man Halloween isnt the problem, I only used it as an example because we all know its a good film

The problem is you saying something is "liberal woke agenda" like you're a neck beard youtuber who s***s himself at the mention of Captain Marvel

It’s hilarious how mad you get at that term when it’s fully accurate that many movies these days have put their agenda over the actual filmmaking

Captain Marvel uses first world feminism to make an Air Force propaganda film and to convince mothers to abandon their children because that’s “woke”. Doesn’t help the filmmaking is typical s*** MCU as well

not mad, just genuinely surprised that people still use that term unironically

but i can see that you're a new user, so i'm guessing you're from the reddit/4chan crowd?

never been on 4chan. Seen some reddit though. I got no issues with using that term. Its just funny how many of the people upset at that term would be the first ones to insult something by calling it MAGA bait if it leaned right in its messaging. The politics of something doesn't bother me in art. I have loved both left leaning and right leaning movies (The Incredibles, Tenet, Pursuit of Happyness, LOTR), the biggest thing to me in a film is the execution of these ideas and if they actually approached it as a movie rather than some corny political angle to garner praise from a certain audience.
