ok so i've been really hyping the s*** out of this track
i might as well make a real thread about it lol

so from what i've gathered - an early instrumental for Life Of The Party was heard on the Dame Dash "DONDA" Documentary that leaked earlier this year

you can hear the beat playing in the background of this video @ 11:49

on July 18th, Consequence posted this snippet on his Instagram of Kanye playing the OG DONDA version of LOTP for Tyler, The Creator

Consequence ended up deleting this snippet from Instagram and reposted it without sound; which you can still see here:

Kanye hosted a private listening party in Las Vegas for DONDA... some cheeky c*** out there leaked a s***ty quality recording of a version of LOTP which he played that night, which you can hear here:

this is the original version of LOTP that was meant to be on DONDA.... "Straight From Shibuya, On Some Zennnn"
(damn, they finally removed this leak )

as we all know, Kanye ended up hosting 3 different listening parties for the public to attend & watch via stream, before the release of DONDA - however, he did not play Life Of The Party at any of those events... when i didn't hear LOTP, i laughed til i almost cried

on September 1st, news sources reported that Kanye was in Berlin.... during an interview Kanye did with BILD, he played them a snippet of what seemed to be an Andre 3000 verse on LOTP

and today, on September 4th....
Drake leaks a version of Life Of The Party on The Certifry Yiy Show on Sound 42 - which seems to have backfired on him, with the internet claiming that the one track is better than his entire album
this version has a completely different verse to the OG version.... no more parties in Shibuya

Consequence followed this up by posting this tweet

UPDATE: In a now deleted tweet, we see text messages with Consequence where he states that we are about to have a party @ 8PM

Also, Andre 3000 issues a statement about LOTP

“A few weeks ago Kanye reached out about me being a part of the Donda album. I was inspired by his idea to make a musical tribute to his mom. It felt appropriate to me to support the Donda concept by referencing my own mother, who passed away in 2013. We both share that loss. I thought it was a beautiful choice to make a clean album but, unfortunately, I didn’t know that was the plan before I wrote and recorded my verse. It was clear to me that an edited ‘clean’ format of the verse would not work without having the raw, original also available. So, sadly, I had to be omitted from the original album release.
The track I received and wrote to didn’t have the diss verse on it and we were hoping to make a more focused offering for the Donda album but I guess things happen like they are supposed to. It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth. I wanted to be on Certified Lover Boy too. I just want to work with people that inspire me. Hopefully I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”
